Things are going to start getting messy around here, this afternoon DB ripped out an existing front window to get ready for the bricklayer that is coming on saturday, yes not only are we extending out the back there is one room at the front of the house that is getting squared up with another front room, by doing this we gain a built-in robe in that bedroom and also a large linen cardboard in the hall way.
All our windows are going to be replaced and this is the one thing I'm really excited about and I have taken the opportunity to have floor to ceiling windows, at the moment all out new windows are stacked in the garage just waiting to be put in, but with DB and I doing all the work apart from the odd tradie it's all about one thing at a time.

The back extension is really taking shape and this is what has been keeping me busy for the last couple of weeks.

I'm tossing around colours for these to patterns that I think I'll get printed, these two design are a little more folksy cute which I can image in a few applications.
These aren't new designs but you might remember this one which I have just made to a one colour design which I think works really well.

It's a Donna Hay recipe and I must say it's the best cake I have ever made.

A week since my last post...
...well I've been working hard, so many things going on with the house and it's heating up, we are working towards replacing the whole roof but it may take a month or two to get to that point, won't bored you with the details.
Anyhow, loved to be relaxing in the above image, ain't it lovely.

I really want to use my camera a bit more and more importantly how to use it.
So I have set myself the task of only putting it on manual, thought that would make me learn. I don't get out much these days, so here are a few snaps from around the house. Oh and check out my new boots.
